What are ways to attract rabbits in Louisiana for hunting?

I go hunting a lot for rabbits behind my house and rarely see them. I want to hunt and kill a few a hunt. Any advice or tips.

down a bushy tree or two, make sure it’s good cover and leave it for a while. when you come back, you’ll likely have rabbits moved in. just shake the pile and they’ll run out, either take them while running with a shotgun or wait for them to shortly stop to take with a rifle.
