    What do I need to bring with me on a hunting trip?

    Arkansas small game license, and state and federal waterfowl stamps.  A five day license, state stamp, and federal stamps will need to be purchased.  These may be obtained at local license dealers or by phone from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission at 1-800-364-GAME (4263) or web http://www.agfc.state.ar.us/hunting_ol.html.

    Chest waders--no hip boots, please

    Warm, waterproof clothing

    Shotgun and plenty of non-toxic ammunition

    Face mask or headnet

    Your camera to capture the memories

    Can I bring my retriever?

    Yes, your canine hunting companion is welcome; however, we need advance notice of this.  We normally hunt with our own retrievers but special arrangements can be made if you want to bring yours.

    I'm ready to come to Arkansas and hunt!  When does the season begin?

    Arkansas' 2006-2007 waterfowl season begins November 18th and runs until December 18th. It reopens on December 26th through Jan7th.  The last segment of the season begins Jan 13th through Jan28th.

    What is the duck limit?

   There is a daily bag limit of 6 ducks consisting of no more than 4 mallards (no more than one can be a hen), 1 pintail, 3 mottled ducks, 3 scaup, 2 wood ducks, 2 Redheads, 1 Canvasback, or 1 Black Duck.  Please note possession limit is twice the daily bag limit, or a total of twelve ducks.
