Looking to work out by riding a bicycle outdoors. What bike would you recommend?

admin on Jun-11-2011

I plan to work out outdoors in the spring and summer by riding a bike outdoors. I am also looking for a bike that would be less than $500. What would you recommend?

It will depend on where you want to ride. You can get a nice hybrid bike that will be good on the roads and can handle dirt and gravel bike paths. The most important thing is to go to the local bike shop and get fitted for a bike. I like the Trek FX series.

Where is the best place to go hunting in or close around san diego?

admin on Jun-11-2011

My friend and I want to go hunting but there seems to be no hunting places in San Diego, Califronia. Does anyone know of any places where we can go hunting? We mainly want to go hunting for wild pig and small game, that is about it. Also if the location for hunting could be free or very low in price that would help alot. Thanks and please respond fast because we want to go soon!

Ok closest place to hunt feral pigs will be in Riverside County, next closest places will be the Tejon Ranch in LA County then up in to Santa Barbara County. As for small game hunting, contact the San Diego area Fish and Game Office for maps and information.

Have You Seen the First Wrinkles on the Forehead?

admin on Jun-9-2011

Forehead wrinkles can develop with aging, but sometimes it happens in the young age too. As you age, you will lose elasticity in your skin. Besides your age, there are also environmental factors that can contribute to the creation of wrinkles, such as exposure to sunlight, your diet, and your lifestyle. Wrinkles on your forehead tend to be either vertical lines between your eyebrows, or a series of horizontal lines below the hairline and across the entire forehead. You must admit that it is not very beautiful.

When you see the first wrinkles, everyday massage with piece of fresh or salted cucumber will be very effective. Move the ‘circlet’ of cucumber from left to right by circular motions. Cucumber juice absorbing, wets the skin and after drying it makes the skin mask, which is recommended to keep for 30 minutes. Then rinse face with cool water.

Generally there are many preventative measures you can take to prevent or slow the process that creates the wrinkles, one of which is to use sunscreen when outdoors, as this will prevent sun damage to your skin.

Being aware of how your face moves is a very important step in the prevention of wrinkles. Facial movements during speaking, laughing, and frowning are great contributing factors to the creasing of the skin in the forehead area. Repetition of these movements in the face will lead to static wrinkles. Training your facial muscles to move differently will minimize the creasing of the area.

If wrinkles are very deep, use my recipe of… paper band. Take the band of smooth white paper (tracing paper or parchment) and wet it in the warm water. Put thin layer of nourishing cream on the surface. Smooth out wrinkles by hand and put prepared paper band on the forehead. Cover with elastic bandage above. At the first time keep the band on the forehead for 15-20 minutes. Then enlarge the time of procedure till 30-40 minutes. Do you want to increase the result? Make the procedure 1-2 times every day. You’ll feel the efficiency of the procedure, when trying to knit your brow, and you can’t do it. Feeling of the bandage on the forehead will prevent you. Anti-wrinkle tips and advices at wrinkles.

Deer and Deer Hunting – What You Must Know to Be a Top Deer Hunter

admin on Jun-9-2011

When it comes to deer and deer hunting, if you really want to become a top notch deer hunter, you will need to take some very important steps.

Success with anything doesn’t just happen by chance or luck-almost all of the time, it requires you to have some specialized knowledge, and deer hunting is no exception.

Most hunters think that catching a deer is mostly about luck, and while luck plays a part, the reality is that most of your success is dependent on you. Here are some tips to help you get that prized deer as fast as possible.

First of all, remember that where you hunt is the most important factor. Even if you are a bad hunter, you have a chance to get a deer when there are many around, but you could be the best hunter in the world and still not catch one if there aren’t any around. Sounds obvious, but many people don’t pay enough attention to their location, the most critical important aspect.

For deer an deer hunting success, you need to pick an area and get there at least 24 hours earlier to check it out if you haven’t hunted there before. Check out where the deer go to drink, eat, where they reside, and attempt to find the trails they take to and from wherever they happen to b going.

Then you just get yourself in between the two areas and you have set up yourself for success. This is critically important to becoming a successful deer hunter. If you remember nothing else from this article, remember this point, and you should be ready to go.

Something else you might consider doing is going out with an experienced hunter the first time or two, as you will learn a lot about deer and deer hunting from them, and seeing how they do things can really cut some time off your learning curve in a hurry.

Also, watch some hunting shows on television, as you can learn a lot from just watching ten or fifteen minutes of how they do things. Make sure you go out around dawn or later as the sun is just going down, as this is the time you will see the most deer, and therefore have the best chance of success.

Another reason it’s important to go out early is that the deer will not spot you in the area, because if they do, they will likely not go near there that entire day. If you make sure that they don’t see you, you will not have to worry about this.

One final tip: make sure you don’t have any strong smelling items or clothing with you, as deer smell very well, and if you carry anything like that with you, they will detect it in a minute, and avoid you. Remember, if nothing else, remember that location is the most important aspect of your success as a deer hunter.

Keep this info in mind when it comes to deer and deer hunting, and you will achieve success very quickly.

Basic Fly Fishing Tips for Newbies

admin on Jun-9-2011

Fly fishing is one of the fastest growing games in the US. But more importantly it is considered one of the most popular sports that help in the conservation of natural resources, especially the aquatic one.

Fly fishing is quite simple – all you need are a fishing rod, line and the ability to make the proper casting. Here are some fly fishing tips and techniques that can help the fly fishers to well on their next angling adventure.

Material of the fly fishing rod – for beginners, it is advised to get the hollow glass as it is more sturdy and efficient. Also, it does not need too much care unlike the bamboo type.

Fly fishing Line – No matter how good your casting capabilities are, your efforts will be futile if you have a line that does not go well with the rod. The more it is going to be a disaster if you are just a beginner. You are bound to fail in any efforts to learn how to properly cast, unless you have a fly fishing line matching the rod.

Casting skills and technique – When casting, you must realize that you have to get some line of 20 to 22 feet out front. Fly fishers should always go for casting a straight line. One must be steady in movements in order to perform casting in good form. Relax. This must be what the angler should do in order to lessen the tension on the muscles. Any stiff muscle certainly will contribute to poor casting.

One of the best means of casting and really learning fly fishing in general is go and have some time fishing with anglers who are veteran fly fishers and casters. Surely to be found in your area are good fishers and many of them are only too willing to accommodate you and even give you important fly fishing tips.

Indeed, if others can do it and enjoy immensely the art of this sport, surely you can do it too. The fundamental rules and methods of fly fishing are actually not that difficult. Just read and research, and talk to other fishers. Soon enough, you will get the hang of it and truly have some enjoyable and prolific fly fishing adventures in the future.

Where can I get married outdoors in Arizona without it being too pricey?

admin on Jun-9-2011

We want to get married outdoors, but we think that Sedona is a little over done. We thought about the Payson area, but since we don’t live up there we don’t know where to start looking. We don’t want it to be hokey, or crazy expensive. Just a nice location.

How big of a wedding are you talking about. :-) You could get a minister and get married anywhere. I got a license off the internet and married a couple of friends.

How come people who exercise outdoors are in better shape ?

admin on Jun-6-2011

Do you think people who run , cycle, ski or are just outdoors are in better shape ?

I disagree with that, I work in a place that has a gym and my co-workers are in great shape. Maybe it is your perception of this is because these people that you see are outside and in your face.
